French Scouting brings together more than 125,000 young people and leaders around an educational proposal bearing civic, solidarity and spiritual values.

6 Scouting Associations

 

French Scouting is constituted as a federation, bringing together six associations: scouts of France, scouts of France, scouts of France, scouts of France Unionists and scouts of France, Scouts and Guides of France, Muslim Scouts of France and scouts of Nature. As associations of Youth and Popular Education, these movements are accredited by the Ministry of Education.

Scouting in France is:

 

  • 100,000 young people

  • 25,000 volunteers

  • 1,300 local groups

  • 4,000 volunteers trained at BAFA every year

  • 60 million Scouts and Guides around the world
